Living Dance Curriculums
“Born of a passion to give our young people ~ a wholesome experience of dance in its original intention; from a Biblical worldview; and to give the joy & exhilaration of exploring and developing their gift as they train in dance.
The Curriculums bring together a distillation of the world’s best training methods in classical ballet based predominantly on a French method of training and Expressive Interpretive Dance; the keys to high level of technical expertise & understanding the body alongside the development of expressive abilities.
We believe in giving positive feed back & recognition of the qualities in each child; developing creativity alongside technique; and allowing a child to be a child with wholesome and edifying class content and performances.”
ABOUT US
A safe place for your child to be nurtured in a non-competitive, non-commercial atmosphere. Developing creativity alongside technique and being trained with excellence, positive feedback and recognition for the qualities in each student to discover and use their gifting.
Students learn dance enriched in Christian ethics and principles upheld by their teachers, Lisa Ward and Sarah Diemar. Both teachers have obtained their Teachers Certificate through the Living Dance International Curriculum for Pre-Dance, Jazz & Contemporary and Ballet in all levels.

Mondays
3:30 - 4:30pm Dance Conditioning and PrePointe
4:30 - 5:15pm Grade 5 + above - Exam Class and extension
Thursdays
3:30 - 4:00pm PreDance (3-5yos)
3:30 - 4:15pm Primary (equiv school K-2 - Ballet Grades Primary & Grade 1/2 )
4:00 – 5:15pm Junior (equiv school Yr3, Ballet Grade 3 & 4)
5:15 – 6:00pm Ministry
6:00 – 7:30pm Senior (equiv school Yr6 and up, Ballet Grades 5 & 6)
7:30 - 8:00pm Pointe Class
8:00 – 8:30pm Pre-Intermediate (equiv school Yr10+ and adults)
Each class (excl PreDance) will cover Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary with two experienced teachers to cater for differing levels (classes will split for Ballet section of class).
